Exactly what is a kill zone? Well for any super plume volcanic eruption of the super Volcano that might be the region by which every living factor is wiped out instantly. That's not saying the volcanic ash wouldn't eventually kill all plant existence within 1000 miles or anybody who unsuccessful to depart the region, as that will potentially happen too.
